CURRIED DUMPLINGS WITH BEETROOT FILLING
Curried Dumplings with beetroot filling is best to add in a soup, beef stew or beef casserole. If you are a budget wise, this dumpling is very suitable for you. A one stops preparation like other dumplings yet very nutritious dish. It has richer of B, folic acid. Beetroot also consider as a vegetable producing calcium and iron good for the bones.

Preparation Method :
- Shift the flour into a clean bowl.
- Add the salt and curry powder.
- Add the suet and sprinkle in the beef stock.
- Stir with a fork to form a soft scone-like dough.
- Turn out the mixture onto a floured surface and divide into 12 small equal pieces.
- With floured hands, flatten each dumpling into a small patty, fill with a round of beetroot and shape into a ball, ensuring that there are no gaps.
- Add to your soup, stew or casserole about 20 minutes before it has finished cooking.
INGREDIENTS
- 100 grams self-raising flour
- A pinch of salt
- 2 teaspoon mild curry powder
- 5 tablespoons cold Basic Beef Stock
- 12 small rounds Red Velvet beetroot
- 50 grams shredded beet suet (fresh if possible)
