PrintJAMAICAN ROAST BEEF WITH GUAVA SAUCE
Every taste of Jamaican Roast Beef with Guava sauce can completely change your daily menu servings. This perfect dish is packed with numerous ingredients like sirloin of beef, butter, guava jelly and added seasonings. Once you taste it, you will surely crave for more bites.

Preparation Method :
- Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 5/190°C/375°F.
- Coat the sirloin with butter and roast in the oven for 25 minutes.
- Mix all the other ingredients, except the 3 sliced guavas.
- Coat the sirloin with the mixture and roast for a further 75 minutes, basting every 15 minutes.
- Pour the left-over juices and stock from the roasting tin into a small saucepan, and boil until reduced by one-third.
- Pour the sauce into a sauceboat. Slice the beef, garnish with the guava slices, and serve.

- 1.3 kg sirloin of beef
- 50 grams butter
- 250 ml Basic Beef Stock
- 4 tablespoons dark rum
- 1 tablespoon sea salt
- Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon freshly chopped ginger
- 1 teaspoon five spice powder
- 4 tablespoons guava jelly
- 3 guavas, peeled and sliced
