SPICY SHEPHERD'S PIE

Preparation Method :
- Cook the potatoes in salted boiling water until very tender, about 20 minutes.
- Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until softened, 5minutes. Add the lamb and sauté over high heat until browned all over, 5 minutes.
- Stir in the chillis, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and tomato ketchup. Season with salt and white pepper, and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C/gas 5). Drain the potatoes and mash well with the butter and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spoon the lamb mixture into an ovenproof dish and top with the mashed potatoes. Dot with the extra butter. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown. Serve hot, garnished with the parsley.

- 750 grams ground (minced) lamb
- 2 teaspoon crumbled dried chillis
- 5 tablespoons tomato paste
- 5 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 4 tablespoons tomato ketchup
- Salt and freshly ground white pepper
- 2 tablespoon butter + extra, for the topping
- 5 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley, to garnish
