BEEF & VEGETABLE ROLY POLY WITH CHEESE SCONE PASTRY
Can’t find your best dish? Worry free through beef and vegetables roly poly with cheese scone pastry. This menu is covered with minced beef and grated potatoes and with cheese scone pastry, no one will ever resist its alluring fragrance and delicious ingredients.

Preparation Method :
- Roll out the cheese scone pastry on a floured board to a rectangular shape.
- Put all the vegetables into a saucepan with the herbs and enough boiling water to just cover them.
- Cook for 20 minutes, then strain until quite dry, keep the liquid for the gravy.
- Spread the beef and mixed vegetables onto the cheese pastry, season it with Worcester sauce and spread it over the chutney. Season it and then roll the pastry up like a Swiss roll.
- Grease a baking tray and line it with well-buttered greaseproof paper.
- Place the roly poly on the baking tray and bake it in the centre of the oven at Gas Mark 6/200°C/400°F for 35-40 minutes till the colour turns to golden brown. This is tasty when served hot or cold.

- 1 quantity Cheese Scone Pastry
- 500 grams cooked minced beef
- A little flour
- 2 large carrots, peeled and grated
- 1 peeled and grated turnip
- 1 peeled and chopped onion
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and grated
- 4 tablespoons fresh or frozen peas
- 1 teaspoon mixed herbs
- 1 tablespoon Worcester sauce
- 2 tablespoons sweet chutney
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
