BEEF MUSHROOM & POTATO PASTIES
This beef mushroom and potato pasties is filled with tasty ingredients. It has an excellent combination of mushrooms, sirloin of beef, potatoes, butter and short crust pastry. Along with these ingredients, your whole family will absolutely enjoy this menu because of its added components.

Preparation Method :
- Put the meat into a large shallow frying pan with mushrooms and onion, parsley, butter and cooking oil, cover and cook for 35 minutes.
- Add the potatoes, season it well, and cook for further 5 minutes. Allow the mixture to rest for 20 minutes.
- Roll out the pastry to 0.5cm in thickness and cut out 8 x 15cm rounds.
- Strain the mixture and place an equal amount in the centre of each round.
- Dampen the edges of each round and fold them over to make a half-moon shape, pinching and crimping the edges.
- Glaze with the beaten egg and put the pasties on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake at Gas Mark 4/180°C/350°F for 30 -35 minutes.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams sirloin of beef, roughly minced
- 250 grams mushrooms, wiped and sliced
- 1 onion, peeled and finely chopped
- 2 sprigs of fresh parsley, chopped
- 30 grams butter
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 250 grams potatoes, peeled, boiled and diced
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
- 450 grams Shortcrust Pastry
- 1 egg, beaten with a little milk
