RABBIT IN CREAM

This rabbit in cream is easy to made, perfect in dinner with your family. It’s cost only a little time to prepare. Try this creamy and full of flavours rabbit dish. It is perfectly tender when it is perfectly cooked.

Cooking Time :
1 hour

Preparation Method :

  • Coat the rabbit with seasoned flour. Heat the butter in a heavy flameproof casserole and brown the pieces well on all sides.
  • Add the onions and cream to the casserole, stir to mix in the brown bits and cover tightly.
  • Cook in a preheated cool oven (160°C/325°F, Gas Mark 3) for about 1 hour, or until very tender.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg oven-ready rabbit, cut into pieces 
  • 4 tablespoons plain flour, seasoned 
  • With salt, pepper and paprika 
  • 100 grams butter 
  • 4 onions, thinly sliced 
  • 250 ml soured cream
