MINCED LAMB WITH PEAS

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a saucepan. Add the onion slices and fry until golden brown.
  • 02Add the green chillies, half of the fresh coriander leaves and the chopped tomatoes to the pan. Add in the ginger and garlic.
  • Simmer to low flame and cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Adjust seasoning with salt and chilli powder to the mixture in the pan and stir everything well to combine.
  • Add the minced lamb to the pan and stir-fry the mixture for about 8-10 minutes or until the meat turns brown.
  • Add the peas to the mixture in the pan and cook for a further 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Garnish with the remaining chopped fresh coriander leaves.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams lean minced lamb
  • 100 grams peas
  • 100 ml Cooking oil
  • 75 grams onion, sliced
  • 100 grams tomatoes, chopped
  • 3-4 green chillies
  • Fresh coriander leaves
  • Salt and chilli powder, to taste
  • 1½ inch fresh ginger root, finely chopped
  • 6-9 fresh garlic cloves, crushed
