Preparation Method :
- Marinate the liver with salt and lemon juice for 30 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and saute the onion and tomatoes.
- Cool it to room temperature and make a smooth paste in a blender or mixer.
- Heat the remaining oil in the pan ,add the cardamom, cinnamon,bay leaf and whole red chillie and saute till the flavour pops out.
- Add the tomato- onion paste and cook till the oil oozes out.
- Add the finely chopped onion and ginger garlic paste. Cook for 2 minutes .
- Add the liver and cook for another two minutes.
- Then add the turmeric powder,red chilli powder,jeera powder ,saunf powder and salt.
- Cover and cook for 20 minutes.
- Sprinkle garam masala and serve hot with roti or paratha.

- 500 grams mutton liver
- 1 big sized onion, cut into eight pieces
- 2 red tomatoes, cut into eight pieces
- 2 cardamoms
- 2 pieces of cinnamon
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 dry red chillie
- 1 big sized onion,finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons ginger - garlic paste
- 2 teaspoons jeera (dhaniya )powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon redchilli powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 2 green chillies
- 1 teaspoon saunf powder
- 3 tablespoons mustard oil
- Salt to taste
