YOGURT LAMB KEBABS
The yogurt lamb kebabs is very healthy and delicious. The taste of the yogurt makes the meat of the lamb much tastier. It is also easy to prepare. Make sure to marinate the meat over night to have the best taste of yogurt on your dish.

Preparation Method :
- Put the lamb pieces in a dish. Stir the garlic and salt and pepper into the yogurt.
- Pour over the lamb and leave to marinate for several hours or overnight.
- Drain the lamb and thread on to 4 skewers, alternating with the onions, tomatoes, pepper, mushrooms and bay leaves.
- Put the skewers on a wire tray over a roasting tin and cook in a preheated moderately hot oven for about 30 minutes.
- Garnish with the rosemary or parsley sprigs.
- Serve with plain boiled rice and the remaining yogurt marinade.
INGREDIENTS
- 1½ kg lamb fillet pieces
- 2 clove garlic, peeled and crushed
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 300 ml plain low-fat yogurt
- 16 small onions, peeled
- 8 small tomatoes
- 2 large green pepper, cored, deseeded and sliced
- 16 button mushrooms, wiped
- 8 bay leaves rosemary or parsley sprigs, to garnish
