Preparation Method :
- Mix all the ingredients except the lemon juice and marinate the lamb at least for 8-10 hours, in the fridge. Bring back to room temperature. Discard the marinade.
- Thread the cubes on to soaked wooden skewers and place on a preheated barbecue or under a preheated grill.
- Cook for about 5-10 minutes under the grill or until tender.
- Sprinkle with the garam masala, drizzle over the lemon juice and serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams lean boned lamb, cut into ½ inch cubes and pierced with a fork
- ¾ teaspoon garam masala
- Juice of 1 lemon
Marinade
- ¾ cup low-fat yogurt, beaten
- 2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 2 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 teaspoon IDHAYAM sesame oil
- Red chilli powder, to taste
- ½ small onion, roughly chopped
- 2 teaspoon garam masala
- ½ teaspoon of fennel seeds
- Freshly ground black pepper and salt, to taste
- 12 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander
