ITALIAN MEAT BALL KEBABS FILLED WITH MOZZARELLA

Italian meat balls kebabs with mozzarella – an excellent dish perfect for family gatherings. With its simple cooking methods, everyone can automatically have this. This dish is mixed with fillet of beef, dried bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, smoked ham and other flavorings.

30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Add breadcrumbs with meat in a bowl, add onion, parsley, basil, grated Parmesan, eggs and smoked ham.
  • Season it well with salt and pepper and mix it well.
  • Divide the mixture into little balls, place them on a moistened surface and flatten them with your hand.
  • Place a cube of Mozzarella on each and wrap the meat around the cheese. Shape into a little ball.
  • Thread the meat balls onto metal skewers with a basil leaf between each meat ball.
  • Gently grill them for about 5 minutes, turning frequently.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams minced fillet of beef
  • 100 grams dried breadcrumbs, soaked in a little red wine
  • 150 grams of peeled and finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil
  • 50 grams grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 grams smoked ham, chopped
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 250 grams  Mozzarella, cut into small cubes
  • A bunch of fresh basil leaves
