CREAMY BEEF AND WILD MUSHROOM CURRY

The creamy beef a wild mushroom curry is loaded with extreme and delicious ingredients like wild mushrooms, Worcester sauce, paprika, braising steak and other elements. With its wild mushroom and other seasonings, the dish looks more juicy, appetizing and perfect for your regular meal.

Preparation Method :

  • Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 2/150°C/300°F.
  • Heat the oil in a large frying pan.
  • Coat the meat in the seasoned flour and brown it all over by cooking for about 6 minutes. Lift the meat into a large deep casserole.
  • Slowly fry the mushrooms in the steak juices.
  • Add the beef stock, Worcester sauce and the rest of the ingredients, except the double cream. Season it well with salt and pepper.
  • Pour the sauce over the steak, cover the casserole with a lid or cooking foil, place in the centre of the oven and cook for 2 hours until the meat is very tender. Add the double cream, cook for a further 10 minutes and serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 900 grams braising steak (fat and gristle removed), diced
  • 50 grams flour, seasoned
  • 450 grams wild mushrooms, roughly chopped
  • 250 ml Basic Beef Stock
  • 2 tablespoons Worcester sauce
  • 10 tablespoons creamed coconut
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of each of the following: grated fresh ginger, chilli powder, ground cardamom, crushed cloves, ground cinnamon, ground cumin, ground coriander
  • 5 tablespoons tinned coconut milk
  • 150 ml double cream
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
