WHITE LAMB CASSEROLE
The white lamb casserole is one of the delicious recipes on lamb meat. Some of the ingredients are chicken stock, strands of saffron, with added yogurt. Chick peas and spices are also ingredients of this recipe. Try to cook this recipe if you have not yet tasted it.

Preparation Method :
- Saute the onions gently in the oil in a non-stick pan for 3 minutes.
- Add the garlic and lamb and cook until the meat is evenly browned on all sides.
- Transfer the lamb and onions to a casserole and add half the drained chick peas.
- Put the remaining chick peas into a blender or food processor with the chicken stock, strained saffron liquid, and salt and pepper to taste; blend until smooth.
- Pour the blended sauce into the casserole. Cover and cook in a preheated moderate oven for about 1 hour, or until the lamb is tender.
- Serve immediately.

- 4 medium onions, peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
- 2clove garlic, peeled and crushed
- 750 grams lean lamb, cut in small cubes
- 750 grams chick peas, rinsed and drained
- 500 ml chicken stock
- 2 teaspoon saffron strands, soaked in 4 tablespoons boiling water
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 4 tablespoons plain low-fat yogurt
