MINCED BEEF AND PORK BURGERS

Minced Beef and Pork Burgers – the preferred meat dish at all times! This dish is made with cheesy burger baps, Lancashire cheese, mayonnaise, fresh coriander, English mustard, shredded lettuce and other seasonings. You can also place some toppings on its top for added attractions.

1 hour 20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Put the minced beef and pork, chopped onions, breadcrumbs, coriander and Worcester sauce in a large bowl and mix well.
  • Season it well with salt and pepper, and shape into 8-12 burgers.
  • Grill the burgers until they are cooked - about 6 minutes on each side.
  • Fry the sliced onions in a little oil, split the baps and toast them gently on the barbecue.
  • Place the bottom half of each bap on a serving plate.
  • Place some cooked onion on the bottom, followed by a burger, a slice of cheese, some English mustard, another burger, mayonnaise, shredded lettuce, tomato and coriander.
  • Top it with the top half of the cheesy bap.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 large peeled and sliced onions  
  • A little Cooking oil
  • 4-6 large Cheesy Burger Baps

For the burgers

  • 500 grams minced beef fillet
  • 500 grams minced pork
  • 3 large peeled and finely chopped onions
  • 200 grams fresh breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander
  • 2 tablespoons Worcester sauce
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

For the filling

  • 4 slices Lancashire cheese
  • 4 tablespoons English mustard
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • Shredded lettuce
  • 2 beef tomatoes, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander
