MYSORE NAATI CHIKEN

Preparation Method :

  • Ground a chopped onions, ginger, garlic, turmeric, chilli power and dhaniya powder in a mixie.
  • Heat a pressure cooker pour oil, once oil is heated, add chicken and salt. Stir it and keep on medium flame until water evaporates from the chicken. Stir in between to avoid chicken sticking to the pan.
  • When the water evaporates completely add the ground masala and fry for 10 minutes.
  • Now add coconut milk and water and mix well.
  • When it comes to boil close the lid and pressure cook - 2 whistles.
  • Serve hot with rice and rotis.

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ Kg Chicken / Naati Chicken 
  • 200 grams Coconut milk 
  • 2 teaspoon Chilli powder 
  • 1 teaspoon Dhaniya powder 
  • 3 medium Onions 
  • 5 Garlic cloves 
  • 1 inch Ginger 
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric 
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 200 ml water
