BHAPA ILISH

15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Soak mustard in water for 1 hour and grind into a fine paste with some salt and a green chilli.
  • Clean the fish pieces.
  • Mix the mustard paste, turmeric powder, green chillies, salt with the fish and marinade for 30 minutes.
  • Pour mustard oil over the fish.
  • Steam it for 15 minutes.                                          
  • Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 pieces of Hilsa fish
  • 3 tablespoon White mustard seeds
  • 5 Green chilli, slited
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 3 tablespoon Mustard oil
  • Salt to taste
