SAFFRON-FLAVORED PRAWNS

Preparation Method :

  • Mix in the ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, salt and sunflower oil in a bowl.
  • Marinate the prawns in the ginger-garlic mixture and keep it aside.
  • Mix cream with saffron and white pepper powder and add to the marinated prawns. Mix well and keep aside for 2-3 hours.
  • Skewer the prawns and cook in a moderately hot oven for about 5-10 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, baste with butter and roast again for at least 5 minutes.
  • Remove the prawns from the skewers and serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg Prawns, Peel and devein 
  • 2 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 4 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 75 ml IDHAYAM Sesame oil 
  • 200 grams fresh cream
  • Few strands of Saffron 
  • 2 tablespoon White pepper powder
  • 100 grams Butter
