GLAZED SHALLOTS

Preparation Method :

  • Preheat a grill pan over medium heat until very hot. Using a pastry brush, lightly coat the cut sides of the shallots with olive- oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook, cut side down, for 5-6 minutes. Brush the top side with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Turn the shallots and cook for another 2 more minutes, or until they are golden and tender.

INGREDIENTS

  • 10 shallots, peeled and halved lengthwise
  • 30 ml / 2 tablespoons light olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
