Preparation Method :
- Preheat a grill pan over medium heat until very hot. Using a pastry brush, lightly coat the cut sides of the shallots with olive- oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook, cut side down, for 5-6 minutes. Brush the top side with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Turn the shallots and cook for another 2 more minutes, or until they are golden and tender.
INGREDIENTS
- 10 shallots, peeled and halved lengthwise
- 30 ml / 2 tablespoons light olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
