FENNEL-FLAVOURED PRAWNS

Preparation Method :

  • Heat butter in a pan and saute the fennel seeds for a few seconds.
  • Add garlic, green chilies and onion paste. Stir-fry for a few minutes.
  • Mix in all the other ingredients and cook for 3 - 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Place the prawns in an oven-proof dish; pour the prepared mixture on top. Cover the dish tightly and cook in a preheated (175°C/350°F) oven for 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven.
  • Transfer into a serving platter and serve immediately with steamed rice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 Prawns, deveined, shelled
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 teaspoon Fennel seeds broiled, pounded
  • 2 tablespoon Onion paste
  • 2 teaspoon Ginger, chopped  
  • 2 teaspoon Garlic , chopped
  • 5 Green chilies, deseeded, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon Fennel , chopped
  • 100 grams Cream
  • 100 grams Yoghurt
  • Salt to taste
