GRILLED PORK CHOPS WITH PEACH CHUTNEY

Preparation Method :
- Brush pork chops with fat and season to taste with black pepper. Set aside to stand for 1 hour.
- Cook pork chops under preheated medium grill for about 5 minutes each side or until cooked. Serve with peach chutney and green salad.
- To Make Chutney: Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Simmer for 10 - 15 minutes, uncovered, or until mixture has thickened. Set aside.
INGREDIENTS
- 6 pork loin chops, skin and fat trimmed
- 1 tablespoon oil or melted butter
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Peach Chutney
- 50 grams currants
- 50 grams sultanas
- 300 ml orange juice
- 50 ml white wine vinegar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1 tablespoon finely grated lemon rind
- 1 tablespoon finely grated orange rind
- 1 mild onion, finely chopped
- 1 red pepper, finely diced
- 2 tablespoon finely grated fresh ginger
- 500 grams canned sliced peaches, drained
