GRILLED YOGURT CHICKEN

Preparation Method :
- Marinate with curd, ginger-garlic-chili paste, garam masala and salt for about 2 hours.
- Heat oil in a non stick pan or wok and cook the chicken pieces until dry and tender.
- Remove from fire and sprinkle lemon juice. Keep aside to cool.
- Season the maida with little salt and pepper. Spread it evenly on a plate. Press or pat chicken pieces on the seasoned maida on both sides.
- Heat a gas tandoor on moderate flame or an oven at 180°C. Brush oil generously on the wire rack or grill of the tandoor or oven.
- Place the chicken pieces on the greased wire rack and grill for 10-12 minutes or till pieces are light brown.
- Garnish with mint and lemon wedges and serve hot with boiled vegetables.
INGREDIENTS
- 750 grams chicken - cut into 8 pieces
- 150 ml thick curd
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1¼ teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 3 tablespoon lemon juice
- 75 grams maida (plain flour)
- 50 ml IDHAYAM sesame oil
Chutney
- 9 flakes garlic
- 3" piece ginger
- 2 green chilies
