BARBECUE BEANS AND CHICKEN

Preparation Method :

  • Season the chicken legs with salt and the paprika and coat with the flour.
  • Heat the oil m a frying pan and fry the chicken quickly until golden brown. Transfer to a medium casserole. Add the kidney beans.
  • Melt the margarine in a small pan, add the onion and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add the vinegar, chili powder and remaining paprika. Mix the tomato puree with the yogurt and add to the pan, stirring well to combine.
  • Bring to the boil, and then pour the sauce over the chicken and beans. Cook in a preheated moderately hot oven for about 20 minutes.
  • Serve immediately.

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 chicken legs, washed and dried
  • Salt
  • 4 teaspoons paprika
  • 3 tablespoon whole meal flour
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 750 grams red kidney beans, drained
  • 100 grams margarine
  • 2 onion, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 5 tablespoons tomato puree
  • 150 ml plain low-fat yogurt
