BRANDIED EGGNOG

Preparation Method :

  • Beat the egg yolks in a bowl with the sugar. Beat the egg whites to soft peaks in a separate bowl.
  • Fold together the yolks and whites and pour into four heatproof glasses.
  • Pour brandy into each heatproof glass.
  • Top up the glasses with hot milk. Grate a little nutmeg over the top of each and serve at once.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 eggs, separated
  • 3 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 150 ml brandy
  • 500 ml milk 
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
