MYSTERIOUS EGG CURRY

Preparation Method :

  • Mix grated paneer with arrowroot powder and salt for preparing the white portion of mysterious egg and keep it aside.
  • Mix boiled - ground channa dal, yellow colour, 1 teaspoon garam masala powder,salt and for the yellow portion of mysterious egg. 
  • Take a small portion of the channa dal mix and make a shape of an egg yolk. Roll out all the mixture into the same shape.
  • Take the mixture for the grated paneer and put it above the yolk and make a shape of egg. The mysterious egg is ready.
  • Heat oil in a heavy bottomed deep frying pan and deep fry the eggs.
  • Meanwhile, heat a karahi and fry the onion till it changes to golden brown .
  • Grind the onion with ginger paste, garlic paste, red chilli powder, Coriander powder and Garam masala to a fine paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add the onion mixture and cook for 10 minutes. 
  • Then add tomato puree, salt and kaju paste and continue cooking for 15 minutes. 
  • Now add the mysterious eggs, and cook for another five minutes.
  • Decorate with chopped coriander. 
  • Serve with roti or rice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams Paneer, grated 
  • 20 grams Arrowroot Powder
  • 400 grams chana dal, boiled and ground 
  • 2 tablespoon Cashew nut paste
  • 100 grams small Onion, peeled 
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
  • 1teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 2 teaspoon Garam masala Powder
  • 2 cup Tomato puree
  • Salt to taste 
  • 2 tablespoon Green coriander , chopped
  • Few drops of Yellow colour 
  • 200 grams IDHAYAM Mantra Peanut Oil

    its not the same dish which you have described here and what your picture here has. I believe there's been some mistake, so please check and give us the original recipe.

    Well d snap is actually indicative of another popular dish Nargisi Kofta Curry...probably not the outcome of what has been mentioned in the recipe !!
