TIRAMISU WITH PEARS AND GRAPPA

Preparation Time :
45 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Place some of the chopped sponge fingers in bottom of 4 dessert dishes. Spoon a little Italian brandy over sponge fingers.
  • Stir three-quarters of the pears into mascarpone with the sugar, then spoon a layer into each dish.
  • Continue layering in dishes as early and finish with a mascarpone layer. Chill until ready to serve.
  • Just before serving top each tiramisu with a few pear slices and dust with cocoa.

INGREDIENTS

  • 475 grams mascarpone cheese
  • 2 ripe pears, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 100 grams sponge fingers, coarsely chopped    
  • 50 ml cold Italian brandy    
  • 75 grams caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
