PINEAPPLE SOUFFLE

Preparation Method :

  • Boil the milk and 3 cups of Sugar. Mix melted china grass and condensed milk and heat on slow flame.
  • Add the vanilla essence and the cream to the above mixture.
  • Add the chopped pineapple, ¾ cup of sugar and cook on slow flame.
  • Remove from fire and keep aside this pineapple soufflé.
  • Take an aluminium dish, put half a cup of sugar in it and melt this till golden brown.
  • Spread the caramelized sugar is evenly in the dish.
  • Spread half of the pineapple soufflé over the caramelized sugar, over that pour half of the milk mixture and keep this in fridge.
  • When this is half set spread half of finely cut cherries and cashew nuts over it.
  • Add cocoa or Nescafe to the rest of the milk mixture and heat it again and pour it over the mixture.
  • Spread the remaining pineapple souffle over it.
  • Finally spread the nuts and cherries keep it in fridge.

INGREDIENTS

  • 25 grams china grass, cut into small pieces and soaked for about an hour
  • 500 ml water
  • 1½ litre milk
  • 750 grams Sugar
  • 800 grams condensed milk
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 100 grams cream
  • 1 pineapple, chopped
  • 100 grams cashew nuts, chopped
  • 100 grams cherries, finely chopped
  • Cocoa or Nescafe
