Preparation Method :
- Soak the nachni, add wheat overnight.
- Grind the soaked wheat and nachni with water. Extract the juice using a fine sieve, so that you get 5 cups liquid.
- Boil it in a heavy bottomed pan. Then reduce the heat and add jaggery and salt.
- Stir continuously and make sure that the mixture should not stick to the bottom of the pan.
- Add the milk and also the cashewnuts. Stir continuously for about 30 minutes or till the mixture is of a thick consistency with shiny coating.
- Add cardamom powder. Mix well. Pour onto a greased plate. Cool till set. Cut into squares. Refrigerate.
