CHINA GRASS PUDDING

25 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Add enough sugar, egg yolk and milk, keep on fire, till it becomes thick. Do not allow it to boil.
  • Prepare the china grass in a cup water. When it is melted add it to the egg mixture, when both are at same heat. Remove from heat.
  • Add the condensed milk and vanilla essence. Spread this in a dish. Pour the condensed milk mixture over the preserved pineapple.
  • Keep aside for some time to cool and keep in fridge to set. Decorate with caramelized nuts.

INGREDIENTS

  • Separate 10 egg's white and yolk
  • Sugar, to taste
  • 1 litre milk
  • 25 grams china grass, cut into small pieces and soaked for 
  • about an hour
  • 200 ml water
  • 400 grams condensed milk
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla essence
  • Preserve 1 pine apple in sugar
  • Caramelized nuts, to decorate
