BREAD PUDDING

Preparation Method :

  • Cut the bread into small cubes and put it in the base of a greased glass oven-proof dish. Sprinkle with some chocolate chips.
  • Beat the eggs with the condensed milk for a few minutes till thick and creamy.
  • Beat in the vanilla, then the melted and cooled butter and finally the milk. Pour the creamy milk mixture over the bread cubes.
  • Make sure that all the cubes are covered with the milk mixture and let it rest for 20 minutes. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C / 320°F for 1 hour or till set and golden brown. Serve warm.

INGREDIENTS

  • 50 grams chocolate chips
  • 250 ml condensed milk
  • 6 bread slices 
  • 2 eggs
  • 500 ml milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted and cooled
