ORANGE PUDDING

Preparation Method :

  • Mix the condensed milk with orange juice, rum, milk and sugar, soak thick sponge cake in it.
  • Rub in the powdered sugar and the butter to the prepared china grass.
  • Then add the egg yolk one by one and beat well.
  • Add in the orange peel, sufficient fried nuts and crushed Marie biscuit.
  • Add the cream to the biscuit mixture. Then spread it over the sponge cake.
  • Beat the egg whites well, add little sugar, again beat well. When it becomes stiff add china grass in one thread consistency into the well beaten egg whites.
  • Stir constantly while adding the warm china grass. Beat the mixture again, till it stiffens. When stiff enough pour it over the butter layer and allow it to set.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 grams condensed milk
  • 150 ml orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon rum
  • 50 ml milk
  • Sugar, to taste

Thick sponge cake

  • 10 grams china grass, cut into small pieces and soaked for about an hour
  • 150 ml water
  • 500 grams powdered sugar
  • 250 grams butter
  • 6 eggs yolk
  • 2 teaspoon orange peel
  • Nuts fried in ghee
  • ¾ packet Marie biscuit, crushed
  • 1 tin Cream, beat lightly
  • Egg white
  • Little sugar
