- Slice the bananas thinly into rounds like wafers.
- Keep 1½ cups water to boil in a heavy bottomed pan. Add sugar to make sugar syrup.
- Add banana wafers to the sugar syrup.
- Cook over low heat for about 15 minutes. Then add the cardamom powder and the saffron, soaked in a little water.
- Stir in 1 tablespoon ghee. Remove from the heat and serve hot.
