Preparation Method :
- Heat the milk slowly in a pan and stir in the rice. Place the mixture in a blender and blend to a smooth paste.
- Return to the pan, heat gently and stir until the mixture begins to thicken. Remove from the heat and add the sugar.
- When the sugar is fully dissolved, bring to the boil and simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
- Leave to cool, add the kewra water and the chopped pistachios and almonds. Serve chilled.
INGREDIENTS
- 150 ml water
- 500 ml milk
- 25 grams basmati rice, soaked, cooked and drained
- 25 grams mixed nuts
- 100 grams sugar
- Few drops kewra water
