QUICK RUM BABOS

Preparation Time :

Preparation Method :

  • Cut the cake into two rounds. Place in individual dishes.
  • Bring the honey and water to a boil, then stir in the lemon juice and rum.
  • Pour the hot syrup over the cake and, when cooled, chill until ready to serve.
  • Whip the cream until stiff and spoon or pipe on top.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 bought sponge cake layer (enough for 2 servings)
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice 
  • 2 tablespoon dark rum
  • 8 tablespoons double or whipping cream
