ORANGE AND LEMON MOUSSE
Orange and Lemon Mousse is such a nutritious food because it’s enhanced with powdered gelatin, lemons, oranges, brown sugar, low-fat yogurt, and eggs! It is simply a tasteful and delectable dish to serve not only with your family but to your close friends as well!

Preparation Method :
- Put the egg yolks and sugar in a bowl. Add the lemon rind and juice, orange rind and half of the orange juice.
- Pour the remaining orange juice into a small cup and sprinkle on the gelatine. Stand the cup in a pan of hot water and stir until the gelatine has dissolved.
- Stand the bowl with the egg yolk mixture over a pan of gently simmering water and whisk until the mixture is thick and pale.
- Remove from the heat and continue whisking until cool.
- Stir the yogurt into the mixture with the dissolved gelatine. Leave in a cool place until thick and just beginning to set.
- Beat the egg whites until just stiff, and then fold into the mousse.
- Pour into a serving bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
INGREDIENTS
- 8 large eggs, separated
- 200 grams light soft brown sugar
- Finely grated rind and juice of 4 lemons
- Finely grated rind and juice of 4 oranges
- 30 grams powdered gelatine
- 300 ml plain low-fat yogurt
