Preparation Method :
- Combine the sugar and water in small pan, stir over medium heat, until sugar is dissolved. Bring to boil; remove from heat.
- Beat egg white in small bowl until stiff peaks form. Add in the vinegar and cornflour with motor operating, then gradually pour hot syrup into egg white in thin stream.
- Beat mixture about 3 - 5 minutes or until it holds its shape.
- Spoon the mixture into piping bag fitted with a large fluted tube.
- Pipe stars of meringue on baking paper-covered oven trays. Bake in very slow oven about 45 minutes - 1 hour or until meringues are dry to touch.
- Turn oven off, leave meringues to Cool on trays.
