PARTY MERINGUES

Preparation Method :

• Beat egg whites in small bowl until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating until dissolved between additions.
• Spoon half of mixture into large piping bag fitted with a medium fluted tube.
• Pipe hedgehogs on baking paper-covered oven tray.
• Spoon half the remaining mixture into large piping bag fitted with a plain tube.
• Pipe snails about 3cm apart on baking paper-covered oven tray.
• Spoon remaining mixture into large piping bag fitted with 1 cm plain tube.
• Pipe mice about 3cm apart on baking paper covered oven tray.
• Decorate meringues with almonds and assorted sweets.
• Bake in very slow oven about 30 - 45 minutes or until dry and crisp. Cool on trays.
