NECTARINES BAKED IN WINE

Preparation Time :
5 minutes

Cooking Time :
25 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Place the nectarines in a shallow ovenproof dish and pour over the wine. Sprinkle with the sugar.
  • Preheat the oven to 190°C / 375°F / Gas Mark 5 and bake in the oven for about 20-22 minutes.
  • Divide between the serving dishes and spoon over the remaining wine in the dishes. Serve warm.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 nectarines, ripe and ready to eat, cut into half and remove the stones
  • 250 ml red wine  
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
