LIGHT PEACH PORRIDGE

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the ghee / butter in a heavy saucepan. Add the chopped peaches and sauté on medium heat for 5 minutes or until soft.
  • Add the milk, milk powder and sugar and keep stirring till dry.
  • Remove from the heat and add the cardamom powder. Garnish with chopped and blanched pistachios and a few strands of saffron. Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 250 grams peeled and chopped peaches
  • 50 ml milk
  • 2 tablespoons milk powder
  • 1 tablespoon clarified butter / ghee
  • ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder
  • Pistachios chopped for garnish
  • A few strands saffron
