STIR-FRIED FRUIT SALAD

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Place the sugar and lemon juice in heavy-based frying pan (skillet) or wok and cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves.
  • Add the syrup from the canned fruit and cook for 2 minutes, then add all the fruit and stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes until heated through.
  • Add the rum or brandy, wait 15 seconds, then light it.
  • Serve the fruit salad when the flames subside.

INGREDIENTS

  • 80 gram brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 8 tablespoons reserved syrup from the fruit
  • 4 canned peach halves, drained and halved
  • 2 banana, quartered
  • 4 canned pineapple rings, drained and quartered
  • 4 tablespoons rum or brandy
