- Place the dried fruits in a bowl, cover with hot, strained tea and leave until cold. Drain the fruits well, and then place in a pan with the water, honey and lemon juice.
- Bring to the boil, cover and cook gently for about 20 minutes until the fruit is tender. Turn into a shallow flameproof dish.
- Melt the butter in a pan and add the sugar and muesli (granola).
- Mix well then sprinkle over the fruits. Place under a preheated moderate grill (broiler) until golden brown.
- Serve warm with pouring cream or yogurt.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 gram mixed dried fruits (pineapple, pears, peaches, etc)
- Freshly made tea
- 300 ml water
- 2 tablespoon clear honey
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 80 gram butter
- 50 gram demerara sugar
- 100 gram muesli cereal
