FRUITY PURPLE OATMEAL

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Take half the summer fruits and process to a puree using a hand blender.
  • Put the oats and milk into a small saucepan and simmer gently for about 5 minutes, stirring from time to time.
  • Cool a little and stir in the honey, if using.
  • Pour into a serving bowl and stir in the fruit puree, making a swirling pattern.
  • Roughly chop the remaining fruit and scatter on top.
  • Serve with natural yogurt, if using.

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 grams fresh or thawed frozen summer fruits such as raspberries, strawberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants, cherries or blackberries
  • 50 grams rolled oats
  • 150 ml milk
  • 4 teaspoon honey 
  • Natural yogurt, to serve
