- Mix the milk and oats together in a saucepan and cook over a medium heat, stirring, for 8-10 minutes,
- Serve drizzled with the maple syrup and topped with the fresh fruit, with a little more milk if needed.
- To make a breakfast brulee. Preheat the grill and put the chopped fruit in the bottom of a ramekin.
- Top with the cooked porridge and a spoonful of brown sugar and place under the grill until the sugar has melted and caramelized.

- 250 ml milk or soya milk, plus extra to serve (optional)
- 100 grams porridge oats
- 2 tablespoon maple syrup or clear honey
- Mixed fresh fruit, such as apples, pears, bananas, peaches, mangoes, strawberries and raspberries, prepared and chopped
