Preparation Method :
- Soak 4 bamboo skewers in water for at least 20 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to high and line the grill pan with foil.
- Thread pieces of fruit onto each skewer. Brush the fruit with a little maple syrup.
- Put the chocolate in a heatproof bowl, set the bowl over a saucepan of barely simmering water and heat until it is melted.
- Meanwhile, cook the skewers under the preheated grill for 3 minutes, or until caramelized.
- Serve drizzled with a little of the melted chocolate, removing the fruit from the skewer if serving to younger children.
INGREDIENTS
- Selection of fruit, such as apricots, peaches, figs, strawberries, mangoes, pineapple, bananas, dates and pawpaw, prepared and cut into chunks
- Maple syrup, to taste
- 25 grams plain chocolate, broken into chunks
