FRUIT FLAN

Preparation Method :

  • For the filling:
  • In a bowl,add cream and chocolate and mix well with a wooden spoon and keep aside.
  • For the tart base:                                               
  • Preheat the oven at 180°C.
  • Mix the butter, sugar and eggs in a bowl. Keep an 8" tart mould ready.
  • Add flour and start kneading with your finger tips till it forms a smooth dough-like consistency. Refrigerate  for ten minutes.
  • Roll the tart dough on a rolling pin and press it to fit the shape of the tart mould.
  • Bake at 180°C for 10-15 minutes.
  • Leave it on a cooling rack for 15-20 minutes.
  • When the tart base has completely cooled, add the cream-and-chocolate mix to it.
  • Garnish with the sliced fruits and serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 grams Butter       
  • 100 grams Icing sugar
  • 1 Egg              
  • 300 grams Flour         

For the filling

  • 150 grams Whipped cream    
  • 20 grams White chocolate

For the garnish

  • 1 Kiwi, sliced
  • 1 Fig, sliced kiwi
  • 1 Strawberry, sliced
  • 2 pieces of apple, sliced
  • 2 pieces of mango, sliced
