FROSTED ALMOND CREAMS

Stop cravings for healthy recipes with frosted almonds creams. This recipe is filled with low-fat yogurt, orange liqueur and other flavorings that enhance its delicious fillings and taste. You can also put some slivered almonds on its top for added attraction.

Preparation Time :
30 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Beat the egg yolks and sugar together until thick and creamy. Stir in the chopped almonds, yogurt and liqueur.
  • Beat the egg whites until just stiff, and then fold into the almond mixture. Pour into 6 individual ramekin dishes and freeze until firm.
  • To serve, remove from the freezer and leave to soften slightly at room temperature for 15 minutes, or in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 100 grams soft brown sugar
  • 100 grams chopped almonds, toasted 
  • 500 ml plain low-fat yogurt
  • 4 tablespoons orange liqueur 
  • 50 grams toasted slivered almonds, to decorate
