CHERRY SAUCE

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the tinned syrup on low heat. Blend in the cornflour mixed in 100 ml of cold syrup. Add the sugar. Stir continuously.
  • Cool slightly. Add the colour and stir for a few minutes.
  • Mix in the cherries. Pour the warm sauce over vanilla ice cream. Serve immediately.

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 ml syrup from tin
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour
  • Tinned cherries as required
  • Sugar to taste
  • A few drops of red colour
