BAKED YOGURT CUSTARD

Just put the vanilla and yogurt into a bowl so you can mix it well. Add the milk and eggs, beat it to arrive at an even color and sprinkle the nutmeg! Don’t forget to pour enough water, bake and preheat it in an over for about 40 minutes! Boom! Definitely, you’ll love Baked Yogurt Custard!

40 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Put the yogurt and vanilla into a bowl and mix well. Add the eggs and milk and beat well to an even color.
  • Pour into an ovenproof dish and sprinkle with the nutmeg. Stand the dish in a roasting pan and pour in enough water to come 1 inch up the sides of the pan.
  • Bake in a preheated moderate oven for 40 minutes.
  • Serve hot or cold with fresh or stewed fruit.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 ml plain low-fat yogurt 
  • Few drops of natural vanilla essence
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 300 ml skimmed milk
  • 1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
