Preparation Method :
- Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 4 / electric oven 180°C / fan oven I 60°C.
- Cut the apricots in half, remove the stones and place them, cut- side down, in the bottom of a greased 1 litre buttered pie dish. Sprinkle the granulated sugar over the apricots.
- Combine the flour sugar and almonds in a bowl, pour in the butter and stir to form a rough crumble.
- Spoon over the apricots and bake in the oven for about 20 - 25 minutes or until the crumble is golden brown.
- Serve warm, with custard, cream or vanilla ice cream.

- 750 grams fresh ripe apricots
- 2 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 150 grams plain flour
- 75 grams caster sugar
- 3 tablespoons blanched almonds, chopped roughly
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
