COFFEE CREME BROLEE

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  • In a small saucepan, combine the cream and sugar and bring to a boil over low heat.
  • Pour the coffee into a bowl and add the boiling cream. Whisk until smooth and blended.
  • Add the egg yolks and mix well.
  • Pour the mixture into 6 individual porcelain crème brulee cups. Arrange the cups on a baking pan with high sides.
  • Pour boiling water into the baking pan so that it reaches to about 1 inch up the sides of the cups.
  • Bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the cups from the baking pan. Set aside to cool for 30 minutes.
  • Cover the cups with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours. (At this stage, you may store the crème brulee for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.)
  • Before serving, sprinkle each cup with a tablespoon of brown sugar and heat in the broiler for 1 minute.
  • Serve immediately.

  • 400 ml sweet cream 
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 4 servings espresso, short 6 egg yolks
  • 6 tablespoons brown sugar
