WHITE CHOCOLATE CAKE

Preparation Method :
- Melt white chocolate chips in a double boiler , then cool it
- Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a bowl
- Whisk butter and sugar until creamy. Add the eggs and beat it well (add one egg at a time)
- Stir in the flour mixture and butter milk alternately.
- Finally add the melted chocolate. Mix it well
- Pour the batter into two round greased baking dishes and bake it at 175 oC for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean.
- After baking cool the cake for at least 10 - 15 minutes.
- Prepare the icing by melting white chocolate in a double boiler
- Heat the cream in a saucepan ,but do not boil . Add it to the melted white chocolate
- Now add the sugar and vanilla essence. Mix gently until smooth and glossy
- Spread the icing on a cake and place the other cake on top it.
- Evenly spread the icing on top and sides of the cake .
- Decorate with any preferred fruits or chocolate curls .

- 150 grams all-purpose flour
- 115 grams butter
- 100 grams sugar
- 120 ml buttermilk
- 50 grams white chocolate chips
- 2 eggs
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Water for melting chocolate
Icing / frosting
- 100 ml double cream
- 100 grams white chocolate chips
- 50 grams sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
